Truxtun Radiology is Bakersfield’s largest radiology practice and the area leader in medical imaging. We take pride in providing the highest quality service and the very latest in imaging technology. Our well-trained clinical and medical staff provide the very best in personalized care, always with your comfort and convenience in mind.

Truxtun is Bakersfield’s acknowledged leader in acquiring state-of-the-art imaging technology. We were the very first imaging center in the community to offer screening mammograms and the first to offer digital mammograms. We were also the first to offer Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanning, and the first to provide high speed 64-detector CT (Computerized Tomography).

Other services we offer include Open and Closed MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Nuclear Medicine, DEXA (bone density) scanning, 3- and 4-dimensional Ultrasound, and a variety of both simple and more complex X-ray exams.

Our highly qualified radiologists have extensive backgrounds in all areas of diagnostic imaging with specialists in Nuclear Cardiology, Fine Needle Aspiration and Biopsy, CT Angiography, Nuclear Medicine/PET, Neurological MRI, and Women’s Imaging.
